Quality Assurance Technician - Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Complete CMM programs for production use using PC-DMIS Cad++
• Update old CMM programs with updated revision changes
• Verify fabricated components, weldments, and assemblies meet customer drawing requirements
• Perform inspections on products, equipment and machinery
• Assist in QC Audits and Process Monitoring in all Production departments
• Assist in Factory Acceptance Testing of finished products
• Record all related Quality Records with regards to verification, testing, auditing, and calibration results
• Generate timely Quality Reports as required to ensure all Processes are functioning optimally
• Incorporate and Implement Continuous Improvement and Lean principles in daily work

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• 2+ years’ experience in Manufacturing or Fabrication Quality Assurance roles
• Must be able to read mechanical fabrication drawings
• Must be able to properly use and maintain measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, profilers, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and work proactively in a team environment
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Proficient with MS Office
• Able to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment effectively under pressure
• Able to work overtime or weekends as business needs require, with advance notice whenever possible
• Ability to lift and move 47 lbs

Desired Qualifications

• Ability to track projects, keeping stakeholders informed of progress
• Completed three levels of PC-DMIS Cad++ programming training
• 5 years’ experience programming CMM’s
• Quality Technician, Inspector, or Engineer Certification
• Currently taking classes or interested in taking classes on the above certifications
