Responsibilities
- Complete CMM programs for production use using PC-DMIS Cad++
- Update old CMM programs with updated revision changes
- Verify fabricated components, weldments, and assemblies meet customer drawing requirements
- Perform inspections on products, equipment and machinery
- Assist in QC Audits and Process Monitoring in all Production departments
- Assist in Factory Acceptance Testing of finished products
- Record all related Quality Records with regards to verification, testing, auditing, and calibration results
- Generate timely Quality Reports as required to ensure all Processes are functioning optimally
- Incorporate and Implement Continuous Improvement and Lean principles in daily work
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- 2+ years’ experience in Manufacturing or Fabrication Quality Assurance roles
- Must be able to read mechanical fabrication drawings
- Must be able to properly use and maintain measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, profilers, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and work proactively in a team environment
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Proficient with MS Office
- Able to work in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment effectively under pressure
- Able to work overtime or weekends as business needs require, with advance notice whenever possible
- Ability to lift and move 47 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to track projects, keeping stakeholders informed of progress
- Completed three levels of PC-DMIS Cad++ programming training
- 5 years’ experience programming CMM’s
- Quality Technician, Inspector, or Engineer Certification
- Currently taking classes or interested in taking classes on the above certifications
