Responsibilities

• Ensure the quality of Trulieve’s flower products meets and/or exceeds all specifications for customers.
• Inspect and test flower products for quality defects in the manufacturing process and report issues to various departments.
• Ensure all equipment, guards, and safety devices are always in place; follow safe work procedures and safety rules.
• Perform continual quality control checks to ensure product is produced within specifications.
• Audit various applications of flower product to ensure SOP specifications are met.
• Analyze spoilage, record causes, and take corrective actions where applicable.
• Monitor processes and report problems to supervision through interaction and required paperwork.
• Advise management and coach co-workers on quality issues.
• Follow all SOP requirements and intercede or challenge personnel when defects are present in cultivation.
• Notify supervisor of recurring equipment malfunctions, corrective actions taken, and poor-quality materials or supplies.
• Interact with the Quality Manager/Supervisor in the creation and revision of SOPs as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background screening.
• Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or 18 in CT, PA, and WV).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associate's Degree or equivalent, quality-related training, or certification is a benefit.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and with accurate measurement capability.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access) and ability to work with multiple programs.
• Knowledge and work history focusing on quality and safety in every aspect of the job.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) in a team environment.
• Working experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision and strong attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 lbs. to a minimum height of 5 feet and transport such weight a minimum of 50 feet, with or without mechanical assistance.
• Must be able to work seated/standing for extended periods, maintain body equilibrium while climbing ladders, stairways, stopping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
• Must be able to use hands/fingers to hold, grasp, turn, pick, or pinch frequently/constantly to complete tasks.
• Must be able to handle organic matter daily and wear PPE as appropriate (eye, face, hand, arm, head, foot, body, fall protection).
• Must be able to work in hot, cold, wet, humid, or windy conditions while wearing PPE (95 degrees or greater).
• Must have visual acuity (with/without job aids) for reading, viewing computer terminals, and inspecting small parts/details. Clarity of vision at 20 ft or more in day and night/dark conditions.
• Must be able to speak and communicate verbally at conversation levels with co-workers, vendors, etc. (moderate noise).
