Responsibilities
- Preparing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Performing routine inspections and quality tests.
- Identifying and resolving workflow and production issues.
- Developing quality standards, conducting tests, and identifying issues in the production of our products or services.
- Ensuring that standards and safety regulations are observed.
- Addressing and discussing issues and proposed solutions with superiors.
- Documenting quality assurance activities and creating audit reports.
- Making recommendations for improvement.
- Creating training materials and operating manuals.
- Exhibiting thoroughness and consistency when conducting quality control, testing, and audits.
- Being proactive in non-conformance prevention and maintaining a desire to help the organization to consistently achieve high quality and service expectations.
- Ensuring the overall job performance meets the satisfaction of the Quality Control Supervisor/Management Representative.
- Assisting with nonconformance Return Material Authorization (RMA) investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assisting in updating RMAs in the ERP system when requested by a manager.
- Attending scheduled meetings and training sessions as needed to support quality control activities and employee development.
- Conducting customer-specific, routine quality control and testing as identified on production tickets and checklists.
- Conducting testing and collecting production performance data as needed in support of non-routine quality control checks.
