About the Role
Prudential Overall Supply, a leader in the uniform and textile garment rental industries with 90 years of experience, is seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Technician. This role involves Document Control and Quality Assurance functions in a uniform laundry service provider facility.
Responsibilities
- Use analytical tools (e.g., calculator).
- Schedule daily workload with minimal supervision.
- Work in a team environment.
- Communicate with customers during visits or audits.
- Read and interpret customer specifications and industry standards.
- Write reports, document, and maintain data in the computer.
- Assist corporate Quality Assurance in performing Internal Audits of the Quality Management System.
- Assist corporate Quality Assurance during customer and third-party audits.
- Coach and train other plant employees.
- Assist in the implementation of the Quality System throughout the Distribution Center.
- Investigate non-conformances and corrective actions.
- Perform root cause analyses and corrective actions for product excursions.
- Attend monthly plant management reviews, risk management meetings, CAPA meetings, and supplier non-conformance report meetings.
Requirements
- Customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to follow directions and work in a team environment.
- Either Quality Assurance experience OR a minimum of an AA Degree or completion of a technical or vocational program with relevant college or university coursework.
- Basic computer skills.
