Quality Assurance Technician
At Pilgrim’s, safety is a condition—our team members come first, always. We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Quality Assurance Technician to join our team in Enterprise, AL. This role is ideal for someone who values working closely with Production Supervisors and Managers to ensure all regulatory, food safety, and customer requirements are consistently met within production areas.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with Production Supervisors and Managers to ensure compliance with all regulatory, food safety, and customer standards.
- Complete required departmental checks and accurately upload all information into MYQM.
- Communicate effectively with team members across departments.
- Read, write, and understand English to meet documentation and communication requirements.
- Apply strong math skills to perform measurements, calculations, and verification tasks.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Use sound reasoning and judgment to make decisions in real time.
- Work flexible hours as needed to support production demands.
- Perform job duties in cold or hot environments for extended periods.
- Learn and follow HACCP System procedures; successfully pass all required HACCP examinations.
- Lift up to 40 lbs as needed to complete job tasks.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in business administration or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1+ years of office or clerical experience, ideally in an agricultural or production environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage tasks with precision, supported by strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
As part of the pre-offer process, all candidates must successfully complete and pass a Quality Assurance Assessment. The assessment measures skills relevant to the role, including basic mathematics, calculator proficiency, problem-solving, reasoning, and visual acuity. Passing the assessment is required for continued consideration but does not guarantee employment.

Schedule
Sunday – Wednesday from 7:00pm – 5:30am, with occasional weekends and holidays.
Pay
Base hourly salary.
