Quality Assurance Technician

About the Role

National Beef of Liberal, Kansas, is seeking Quality Assurance Technicians for 2nd Shift. This is a safety-sensitive, on-site position offering competitive wages, family-friendly benefits, and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Assess product to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Provide ongoing training to production employees regarding customer specifications.
• Interact with QA Manager and Production Management for analysis projects.
• Ensure National Beef provides a wholesome, food-safe product to customers.
• Monitor food safety and employee safety throughout the facility.
• Assist in other duties as assigned by QA Management.
• Monitor plant personnel and facility daily to ensure compliance with FSIS and Food Safety Regulations and Programs.
• Notify plant Management of any deficiencies and take appropriate action as needed.
• Perform daily system audits on products.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer/tablet skills.
• Beef industry experience preferred.
• Product knowledge of beef.
• Strong time management and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts and be punctual.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship provided).
