QUALITY ASSURANCE TECHNICIAN ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintaining the high standards of our food products.
  • Daily quality assurance support, including conducting pre-operation and post-operation inspections of production and storage areas.
  • Verifying HACCP compliance, performing quality checks on raw materials and finished goods, and ensuring all products meet the required specifications for food safety.
  • Monitoring production processes to prevent allergen cross-contamination and managing temperature controls in storage areas.
  • Aid in developing quality assurance procedures, support new product launches, and investigate quality complaints.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education: Two-year technical degree in chemistry, biology, food science or equivalent experience
  • Experience: One to three years' experience in plant quality control
  • GMP and HACCP knowledge preferred
  • Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word), ability to maintain compliance with USDA, FDA, OSHA, SQF and all other regulatory agencies while complying with good manufacturing practices, ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Equipment Used: Office Equipment (this may include computer, phone, printer, scanner, copier and fax machine), Basic laboratory equipment (may include PH meter, ATP analyzer, thermometers, viscometer, refractometer, scales), Camera and photo printer
