About the role
Flexible, part-time hours available in our QA Tech department. Shifts are 4 p.m. – 2 a.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre-operational inspection of the plant
- Monitor and ensure compliance with GMP and SSOP programs
- Communicate with sanitation, USDA, supervisors, and other associates
- Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
- Follow quality standards and safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Able to read and write English
Post-secondary training, prior work experience as a Quality Assurance Technician, knowledge of Q.A. policies, HACCP programs, and USDA regulations are helpful but not required.
Work environment
Continuously working around moving machinery in a cold, hot, slippery, and damp environment.
