Quality Assurance Technician
About the Role
Provide support in production-line Quality inspections for implantable medical devices (heart valves). Assist in the execution of inspection and/or test procedures to evaluate all aspects of new product development. Support the review of Quality records, such as Device History Records, for product sub-assemblies and/or finished goods. Conduct Quality inspections of supplied medical device components and maintain associated records. Assist the Quality Assurance team in remedial actions for product or component non-conformance. Participate in environmental monitoring processes and associated record keeping. Operate specialized equipment for test and/or cleaning activities.
Skills
- Ability to read manufacturing prints and identify associated specifications/characteristics related to inspection and testing
- Proficiency in performing visual inspections using a microscope and/or magnification visual inspection system to detect defects
- Competency in using computers and general office software for data entry
Requirements
- AA degree or equivalent directly transferable work experience
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a Class III medical device manufacturing environment
