Quality Assurance Technician
Job Summary
This position is responsible for checking and verifying in process product and finished goods, utilizing a variety of tests and testing equipment to ensure that all produced goods meet or exceed customer standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect samples from production for testing
- Prepare samples into specimens for testing
- Perform testing on specimens
- Ability to attend training as required
- Participate in the internal audit process, certification and auditing of products, processes, quality management policies, etc. following the execution of the work, in order to receive, manage and disseminate audit results
- Work overtime as needed
- All other duties as assigned
Education
- High School Diploma or GED equivalency is required
Experience
- 1+ year of relevant quality inspection experience is preferred

- Ability to navigate work instruction system (CEBOS)
- Capable of doing multiple tasks
- Organizational skills
- Good troubleshooting skills
- Strong technical/mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to function as a member of a team and be able to work under general supervision
- Self-starter capable of operating independently
- Must be able to maintain expected quality levels
- Comply with all site required policies and procedures

- Withstand the rigors of a 12-hour shift
- Stand for approximately 95% of the time
- Bending, reaching, pushing and pulling when retrieving and moving various items
- Squatting / crouching when retrieving items, making equipment / product inspections, etc.
- Must perform duties requiring use of small hand tools
- Possible exposure to elements requiring the production of finished goods
- Must be able to perform detailed repetitive movement of hands and arms
- Lift up to 50 pounds periodically without assistance
- Work at varying heights
- Exposure to high heat and/or cold
- Clean work areas and maintain a clean work environment; perform 5S cleaning activities as required
