Quality Assurance Technician - 2nd Shift

General Position Responsibilities

• Routine Quality Assurance Testing
• Product Sample Collection
• Physical property testing, etc.
• Logging test results in an Excel spread sheet, RedZone or other computer-based format
• Audits Sanitation Operating procedures
• Audits Food Safety inspection
• Supports Research and Development with special testing and sample collection
• Reports any unusual event, circumstances or condition that reflects an obvious defect of raw materials or process deficiencies in our process
• Maintains open communication and collaboration with all Production personnel to meet all quality specifications and process parameters

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience in quality department or quality functions
• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent
• Good working knowledge of basic mathematics and statistics
• Mechanical aptitude/knowledge helpful
• Good organizational and communication skills required; must be able to work with all levels of associates
• Basic computer skills helpful for inputting and summarizing quality control data
• Bilingual desired: English/Spanish

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

This position works on 2nd shift, Monday thru Friday, 3PM - 11PM.
