Responsibilities Quality Assurance Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to Ability to assess product to ensure compliance with customer specificationsAbility to re-instruct line employees in regards to customer specifications in a positive professional mannerInteraction with QA Manager and Production Management for analysis projectsEnsure that National Beef provides a wholesome, food safe product to our customerHelp monitor both food safety and employee safety throughout the facilityAssist in other duties as assigned by QA Management of National BeefMonitor plant personnel and facility on a daily basis to help ensure compliance to all FSIS and Food Safety Regulations and ProgramsQA will be responsible for notifying appropriate plant Management personnel of any deficiencies found and to take appropriate action as neededPerform daily System Audits on productsOther duties as assigned This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position. Qualifications The ideal candidate for the Quality Assurance Technician position should possess the following Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Working knowledge on computers and iPad systems is a plusProduct knowledge of beef or porkGood time management skillsMust have excellent communication skills both verbal and writtenMust be able to read, write and speak English Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
