Quality Assurance Techn. - Cheraw 2 - 1st Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality checks and inspections on products and manufacturing machines according to checklists or inspection plans provided
• Take decisions on the release or block of suspect or defective parts or products
• Contribute to technical optimization of quality aspects in production or assembly processes assigned
• Handle complaints and related cost and initiate corrective actions in cooperation with local operational quality management
• Support the preparation and conduction process of internal and external audits
• Document inspection and audit results and findings in the respective IT systems
• Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Your Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communication in English
• Advanced computer knowledge and MS office skills
• Basic knowledge of statistics and calculations preferred
• Good visual acuity
• Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required

Required: Authorization to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship

Preferred: College or University degree in a technical discipline a plus

Multiple years of experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment

Experience working with IT and/or SAP systems

Ability to read and interpret blueprints
