Key Responsibilities

  • Cover conduct reviews of electrical schematics and circuit diagrams against selected safety standards.
  • Review the selection of critical safety components such as fuses, transformers, and connectors, gathering datasheets to generate a CDF or CCL.
  • Provide a third-party partner with a package of artifacts to support product safety NRTL and CE/UKCA certification.
  • Collaborate with the design team to stage, verify, and operate the equipment under test (EUT) for safety evaluation.
  • Ensure all required nameplate information is provided.
  • Provide feedback on any non-compliant issues and collaborate with the team to find a resolution.
  • Support the third-party partner and internal lab throughout the regulatory certification process.
  • Complete all activities required to receive NRTL and CE/UKCA certification.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
  • This role requires 4+ years of industry experience in regulatory and compliance processes, including familiarity with the Hardware Development Life Cycle.

Key Deliverables

  • NRTL test reports, CDF, and certification (US, CAN).
  • IEC/EN test reports (EU/UK).
  • FCC/ICES test reports (US/CAN).
  • A complete Technical Construction File (TCF) compiling all technical documentation to demonstrate compliance in the US, CAN, EU, and UK.
