About the role

As the Quality Assurance Team Leader at ZOLL’s Acute Care Technology division, you will supervise a small team of Quality Assurance Technicians and ensure that our lifesaving products meet safety standards and customer expectations. You will maintain procedural compliance within ZOLL’s complaint handling process and event reporting systems, assist with complaint processing milestones, and support day-to-day priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Review and close product complaints and/or document investigation results.
  • Perform root cause analysis of product failures, including:
    • Testing units, subassemblies, and accessories to identify or confirm failure.
    • Coordinating failure analysis of non-conforming/defective material with vendors and outside laboratories.
    • Proposing corrective actions as needed.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance Group Leader in coordinating and monitoring department activities, such as:
    • Reporting unresolved problems to the Group Leader.
    • Attending management meetings to represent the work group and record minutes.
    • Conducting work group meetings to relay management information and address work-related issues.
    • Performing duties of absent workers to maintain work schedules.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree preferred.
  • 4–6 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of quality tools, concepts, and practices related to electronics technology in a medical device environment.
  • Proficiency in a MS Windows environment, including MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Knowledge of FDA QSR (Quality System Regulation).
  • Knowledge of Vigilance, Canadian, and other international regulations (strongly preferred).
  • Ability to lead, communicate, and collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary organization.
  • Experience directing, coaching, and training team members, as well as monitoring work.
  • Experience with ESD handling and electro-mechanical assembly methods.
  • Experience with mechanical and electronic test equipment.

Pay

The hourly pay rate for this position is $30.00 to $40.00. Factors affecting this rate include shift, geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
