Quality Assurance Specialist – Supplier Quality
About the role
Support the qualification and onboarding of external suppliers, vendors, and service providers to meet business and operational needs. Maintain supplier quality and compliance documentation, including qualification records, agreements, and supporting documentation. Coordinate and support the planning, scheduling, and tracking of supplier assessments and periodic evaluations. Participate in supplier assessments and review documentation associated with quality, compliance, and corrective actions. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders across operations, sourcing, procurement, quality, and other business functions. Administer supplier communication and change management processes. Review supplier notifications and coordinate cross-functional impact assessments. Support evaluation and implementation of supplier-related changes as needed. Monitor supplier performance and corrective action activities. Maintain tracking systems and documentation associated with supplier quality issues and corrective actions. Drive follow-up activities and ensure timely completion of action items and commitments. Support continuous improvement initiatives related to supplier management, risk mitigation, and quality systems.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or related technical discipline, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience.
- Experience with advanced manufacturing technologies is a plus.
- 2–5 years of experience in a regulated industry environment, quality organization, manufacturing operation, or related technical setting is required.
- Experience supporting supplier quality activities, including supplier qualification and assessments, performance monitoring, corrective and preventive action (CAPA) management, and change control processes.
- Working knowledge of applicable GxP regulations, quality systems, and industry standards.
- Experience participating in or leading internal, external, or supplier audits.
- Strong understanding of quality management principles, risk assessment methodologies, and continuous improvement practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
