About the role

As a Quality Assurance Specialist at BankWest, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our services. Your responsibilities will involve testing and evaluating various aspects of our products and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough testing of software applications and systems to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate new features and updates for potential issues before they are released to customers.
  • Document findings and provide recommendations for enhancements based on test results.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure that identified issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
  • Stay updated with industry standards and best practices to maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in SQL and other database management systems.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Skills

  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
