Quality Assurance Specialist - Hybrid Remote
About the role
The Quality Assurance Specialist ensures quality services are provided to children and families served by Cornerstones of Care. Key responsibilities include assessing compliance with contracts, accreditation, and licensure standards, compiling and analyzing performance data, conducting case reviews, reviewing policies and procedures, and supporting the organization's Performance and Quality Improvement (PQI) system.
Responsibilities
- Develops and maintains reports to identify performance trends and implement improvement strategies.
- Analyzes and shares monthly and quarterly reports to align expectations with best practices and facilitate internal programmatic benchmarking.
- Conducts case reviews to ensure adherence to compliance and risk mitigation standards.
- Reviews policies and procedures with programs and administrative departments to ensure alignment with contract and accreditation standards.
- Ensures adherence to the Performance and Quality Improvement plan through implementation, coordination, participation, and training of the organization's PQI system.
- Supports the optimization of Electronic Health Record (EHR) workflows and reporting related to compliance, accreditation, and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, required.
- Experience with Excel, required.
- At least 21 years of age and must pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
- Valid driver’s license in the state of residence, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of relevant experience.
Skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Hourly Range: $18.00 - $20.66
