About the Role
We are seeking a detail-driven Quality Assurance Specialist to support our pipe fabrication operations. This role ensures compliance with codes of construction while managing critical quality documentation and inspection activities.
Responsibilities
- Manage welder qualifications, continuity tracking, and ASME Section IX compliance
- Review project specifications before and after project awards
- Partner with Project Managers and the Engineering Department during job set-up
- Prepare and submit quality documents to clients, and track/resolve returned comments
- Develop project inspection & test plans and coordinate quality requirements
- Attend pre-inspection meetings and communicate expectations to internal teams
Requirements
- Experience in pipe fabrication QA/QC or industrial inspection
- Strong knowledge of ASME B31.3, B31.1, and Section IX
- Ability to read piping isometrics, weld symbols, and technical specifications
- CWI preferred
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with the Google platform
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to organize workload
- Ability to adapt quickly to change and deliver under pressure

- Must wear job site Personal Protective Equipment (hearing protection, safety glasses, long sleeve shirt, gloves, steel toe boots, etc.) when in shop/yard areas
- Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of self or others in the workplace

- Climatic/Environmental Conditions at Job Site: Predominately indoor climate; various noise levels caused by tools, machinery, and equipment

There will be times the individual may be required to perform tasks outside their normal responsibilities as demanded by the job.
