Quality Assurance Specialist
About the role
This Quality Assurance Specialist role operates within a Brazilian travel-tech company focused on the distribution of tourism products, travel e-commerce, partner support, and technology-enabled booking operations. The position is distinctly centered on quality assurance, ensuring that quality evidence is maintained and applied effectively within this specific operating environment.
The role requires keeping confirmed facts, pending dependencies, and exceptions visibly separate while executing quality assurance tasks. Each checkpoint must document a visible source, owner, status, and next action, following a quality-focused, assurance-focused, and specialized-execution work profile.
Responsibilities
- Document quality assurance activities with root cause analysis, ensuring traceability and clarity in the context of Brazilian travel-tech operations.
- Maintain official travel role documentation with status tracking, ensuring each checkpoint includes a visible source, owner, status, and next action.
- Reconcile quality monitoring with deadline management to ensure timely and accurate execution of quality assurance tasks.
- Coordinate documentation with reporting to maintain transparency and accountability in quality assurance processes.
- Review quality control with workflow management to ensure seamless integration of quality assurance within the operational workflow.
Requirements
- Use the official travel workflow context and apply quality assurance confidently within the Brazilian travel-tech environment.
- Apply data accuracy without losing track of evidence or deadlines in the quality assurance workflow.
- Document process compliance and issue escalation decisions to maintain clear reasoning and accountability.
- Exercise judgment in follow-up actions, especially when quality assurance depends on external confirmations rather than assumptions.
- Ensure the role-specific handoff test combines process compliance, workflow management, and quality monitoring; work remains open if these signals are not current.
