Quality Assurance Specialist

Location: Princeton, NJ | Work Model: Onsite | Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1st shift) | Type: ~2-month contract

Responsibilities

• Conduct Gemba walks throughout the production process to verify that fragrance batches meet specifications, including testing at various stages (e.g., during mixing, before packing, HACCP).
• Support nonconformance investigations (Z3, Z1, Z5).
• Monitor overdue actions in the IMS and support document management control.
• Review documentation, analytical data, product specifications, and process changes/deviations before product release to ensure compliance with defined specifications; address and resolve any concerns or discrepancies.
• Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on product quality, trends, and challenges related to fragrance production.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, collaborating with operational units to ensure compliance and conduct comprehensive evaluations for investigations and process enhancements.
• Support the 5S program within the plant.

Requirements

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in quality assurance, preferably in fragrance, food, or chemical industries.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, HACCP, and GMP standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality systems (e.g., SAP, LIMS).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
• Effective communication skills.

Pay

$26.00 – $30.00 per hour
