Accountabilities
The Quality Assurance Specialist will support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality assurance programs, processes, and organizational workflows. This role requires collaboration with diverse stakeholders, strong documentation skills, and the ability to analyze complex information to drive effective solutions.
- Support the implementation of comprehensive quality and process improvement programs across technology operations.
- Develop, review, and enhance organizational processes, procedures, workflows, and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements, analyze challenges, and recommend process improvements.
- Conduct quality reviews of documents, deliverables, and project materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Support internal quality audit activities to evaluate process effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities.
- Apply quality assurance methodologies, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive action planning.
- Review existing programs and processes to identify opportunities for standardization and operational efficiency.
- Collect, analyze, and summarize information from stakeholders to support business and technical decisions.
- Research solutions and provide recommendations aligned with current and future organizational needs.
- Support knowledge management, change management, configuration management, and process governance activities.
- Improve communication effectiveness by helping teams create clear, accurate, and audience-focused materials.
- Perform additional quality assurance and process improvement activities as needed.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented quality assurance professional with experience supporting process improvement, documentation, and organizational change initiatives. This position requires strong analytical skills, communication abilities, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with technical and business stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or related discipline preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Minimum of two years of experience developing and implementing quality assurance programs for projects of similar scope and complexity.
- Experience supporting quality management, process improvement, audits, or organizational transformation initiatives.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
- Experience with collaboration platforms such as Teams and SharePoint.
- Strong understanding of organizational change management principles.
- Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and documentation skills.
- Ability to communicate complex information clearly to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, shifting priorities, and competing deadlines effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
- Experience using AI tools to improve communication, documentation, and productivity.
- Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team environment.
- U.S. Citizenship required, with eligibility to successfully complete a government background investigation.
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, DevOps, Iterative, or other software development lifecycle methodologies preferred.
- Agile Scrum Master certification, healthcare technology experience, SharePoint expertise, or prior government healthcare access experience preferred.
