Quality Assurance Specialist

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for financial quality assurance and approval of participant expenses payment and reimbursement across multiple projects and grants, focusing on the analysis and review of WIOA payment requests for compliance, accuracy, and completeness. This is a full‑time, non‑exempt, 100% remote position reporting to the Project Director.

Responsibilities

• Ensure expense submissions from various Career Advisors are in compliance with Federal WIOA, local, State, and corporate policies
• Manage funds from grants to ensure records are maintained to keep the grant in budget with no disallowed costs
• Work closely with Career Advisors and Project Director as well as the Workforce Board to provide financial compliance guidance and insight and participant reporting on assigned projects
• Ensure participant expenditures are entered and processed in a timely manner in accordance with established policies, and budgets within WIOA guidelines
• Manage and monitor project participant financials and update reimbursement status for various project grants to ensure grants are fiscally managed
• Support teams across the four counties with monthly project invoices and supporting documentation and associated quality review
• Complete written forms and reports accurately and in a timely manner
• Support team(s) with audit deliverables and program audit requests
• Provide administrative support to teams and programs
• Support growth and program development
• Approach each day and task with a “Zag” mindset
• Perform other duties and projects as needed
