About the role
The Quality Assurance Specialist will work in conjunction with the Sr. Manager, Quality Assurance and various functions to implement, maintain, and improve the quality program.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal policies
- Develop and deliver training programs
- Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement
- Assist in Nonconformance/Corrective & Preventive Action (CAPA) program, field and efficacy complaint investigation, and associated action plans
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities both internally and externally
- Support Operational Excellence, KPI tracking, reporting, and improvement
- Assist with formulation/manufacturing process improvement
- Develop, maintain, and periodically review quality SOPs, training, and associate documentation as it relates to the Atticus QMS
- Provide quality approvals for methods, SOPs, and COAs
- Prepare management reports as required and/or requested
- Bolster implementation of the quality auditing program with input and support
- Production Support:
- Consistency checks between Bill of Material and FileMaker Pro database
- Support tolling partners by providing analytical & QC methods, standards, and check samples
- Assist with batch sheet creation
- Store and organize QC data reports
- Facilitate sample shipments for tech, inert, and products from tolling sites
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in business, supply chain management, technical discipline, or equivalent focus
- Three to seven years of related manufacturing/quality experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably in agriculture or chemical field
- Proven experience in quality control and/or quality assurance
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt highly desirable
- LEAN and ISO experience preferred
- Statistical Analysis skills

- Ability to network within the organization as well as with external parties
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills

- Intermediate+ level Microsoft Office skills
