Quality Assurance Specialist
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine laboratory testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Review and document test results, investigate out-of-specification findings, and support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate and compliant documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality, food safety, and process efficiency.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
- Oversee the work of quality analysts and provide guidance when necessary.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in quality assurance and quality control.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment.
- Knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related scientific field is required.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of South Sioux City, NE.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
