Quality Assurance Specialist AGADM-QA

Position Summary

Auxiliary role in the audit process for the agency, focusing on compliance with regulatory requirements and conducting investigations into incidents and allegations of abuse.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities

• Completes investigations into all classifications of incidents and compliance issues
• Conducts internal auditing of all programs receiving Medicaid Services and non-Medicaid services to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provides special audit coverage for high-risk areas, suspected fraud, and special projects as requested
• Assists with clerical support, including creating and updating documents in Excel and Word
• Supports training related to regulatory issues
• Works a flexible schedule
• Communicates professionally verbally and in writing
• Learns and uses a variety of computer software, including Microsoft Excel, Access, Outlook, and Word
• Meets the requirements to drive Springbrook vehicles as needed

Qualifications, Skills And Knowledge

• Bachelor’s Degree in area of specialty or Associates Degree with appropriate experience
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience working in the field or a related area
• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of developmental disabilities
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in or knowledge of using a variety of computer software and e-mail applications
• Aptitude to learn other computer software as necessary

Pay

Pay ranges from $21 to $23 per hour based on education and experience.
