Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, and maintains QA strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions
- Creates and executes comprehensive roadmaps that clearly define pathways to quality solutions
- Oversees the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software applications and IT systems
- Collaborates with business analysts, developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to define quality requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Evaluates and implements new testing tools, technologies, and automation frameworks to enhance QA efficiency and effectiveness
- Drives root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects and quality issues
- Coordinates user acceptance testing (UAT) and support production releases to ensure successful deployments
- Communicates QA status, risks, and issues to senior leadership and project stakeholders
- Collaborate closely with leadership, engineering, design, QA, and customer success to ensure alignment and successful product execution
Requirements
- 5+ years of Quality Assurance management experience, with at least 3 of those years in a role at an established software technology company
- Strong technical fluency; able to engage deeply with engineering on computer science concepts, systems, APIs, and architecture
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong experience with writing test plans and executing automated testing to include functional, smoke, regression, load, negative and mobile strategies, required
- Able to manage teams and projects within a software solutions environment
- Adaptable to fast-paced changing industry practices
