Quality Assurance Representative C- Belgravia (Days)

Schedule

9:15 AM – 5:45 PM (varies) plus overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process and perform routine QC checks.
• Interface with line supervision and production workforce on production and quality procedures.
• Maintain process and quality documentation, including conducting internal audits that may require management participation.
• Perform pre-operational sanitation inspections in assigned areas.
• Maintain and update current operation instructions and quality control procedures, incorporating floor-level input.
• Perform, monitor, and evaluate compliance with USDA regulations beyond daily routines.
• Hold authority to quarantine non-conforming product (per customer agreements, finished product specifications, or legal requirements) and make decisions regarding product disposition, including release.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be able to communicate clearly in English (written and verbal).
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Proficient in mathematics.
• Proficient with computers, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Legible handwriting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Favorable employment and attendance record.
• Able to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Willing to rotate into various departments with varying QC-related job duties.
• Able to report to work daily and on time.
• Able to stand for prolonged periods (8–12 hours) on concrete or metal grate floors.
• Able to work in cold environments (as low as 40°F) or hot environments (up to 100°F) in a ready-to-eat (RTE) plant.
