Chromalloy is a global engineering & solutions company providing aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions for aircraft engines and gas turbines. We develop, manufacture, and repair critical turbine components for aerospace, energy, and defense industries worldwide.
Responsibilities

- Familiarize and understand applicable regulations, inspection methods, techniques, practices, aids, equipment, and tools.
- Ensure inspections comply with regulatory authorities and approved data.
- Ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition and calibrated.
- Use calibrated tools and equipment to perform inspections.
- Verify part numbers and serial numbers match paperwork.
- Document inspections properly and report issues to Quality Management.
- Maintain clean, orderly, and safe working conditions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in basic dimensional/visual inspection on aviation-related equipment (airframe, powerplant, and avionics).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, speak, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Read and interpret various types of precision measurement equipment and documents like OEM maintenance manuals, customer specifications, and regulatory authorities.
- Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
- Operate industrial trucks and electric hoists.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Effective communication with peers, subordinates, supervisors, and management personnel, customers, and auditors.
- Good organizational and planning skills.
- Effectiveness in stressful situations.
- At least 1 year of relevant aviation work experience.
- Airframe and Powerplant FAA certifications preferred.
Pay
The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation is determined by multiple factors including relevant experience, education, certifications, job-related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. Chromalloy participates in E-Verify and conducts background investigations and drug screens as required by law.
