Quality Assurance (QA) Intern

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Assurance Intern to join our team at Hitachi Vantara Manufacturing, Inc.

Responsibilities

• Connect and extract useful quality information from various data sources and structures.
• Develop analytical methods and models for process quality control.
• Contribute to product testing improvements through analysis of failure trends and field returns.
• Assist with technical studies and use case options for AI + HI application in Quality Data Management.
• Work with Engineering to implement Mistake Proofing Methodology.
• Participate in Quality Investigation, Root Cause Analysis, and Continuous Improvement.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in database design, optimization, and analysis of data.
• Basic programming skills.
• Knowledge of Statistical Process Control.
• Familiarity with Microsoft programming development environment and tools.

Pay

$20 per hour.

Schedule

At least 20 hours per week during school months and 40 hours per week during summer months.
