We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to ensure the quality of our software products. You will develop and execute tests to ensure the software runs smoothly and meets the highest standards. Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the final product is free from defects and performs optimally.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and execute manual and automated test cases for new and existing applications.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure alignment between design and functionality.
  • Identify, record, and track bugs and work with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure software updates do not affect the overall system performance.
  • Ensure applications are tested thoroughly for functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality is maintained throughout the development process.
  • Perform exploratory testing to identify potential areas of improvement.
  • Document test cases, test results, and any issues found to maintain clear communication.
  • Mentor and prepare junior testing team members.
  • Prepare test scenarios and cases as templates for future projects.
  • Plan testing tasks, estimate hours needed, and monitor actual progress.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective to ensure quality standards.
  • Prepare test summary reports for management.
  • Continuously enhance and improve testing processes and methodologies.
  • Maintain test environments, configurations, and test data.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in software testing with a strong understanding of QA methodologies.
  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing.
  • Experience in planning and documenting test plans.
  • Knowledge of programming/scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Experience with debugging is preferred.
  • Experience with bug-tracking tools like JIRA, HP QA test, TestRail, Bugzilla, or MS Office tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: Negotiable for the right candidate.
