Quality Assurance (QA) / Director of Testing

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise Quality Assurance strategy across multiple products and programs.
• Build and lead a high-performing QA organization focused on automation, continuous testing, and engineering excellence.
• Establish governance, quality standards, testing methodologies, and enterprise QA best practices.
• Drive automation-first testing using Cypress, TypeScript, JavaScript, Selenium, and API automation.
• Design scalable automation frameworks supporting UI, API, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Embed automated testing into modern CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous delivery.
• Lead quality initiatives across Agile/SAFe development environments.
• Partner with Engineering, Product Management, Program Management, and Business stakeholders to define quality goals and release readiness.
• Oversee test planning, estimation, execution, reporting, risk management, and defect governance.
• Develop executive-level quality dashboards, KPIs, and metrics that drive business decisions.
• Champion AI-led QA transformation through GenAI-powered automation, intelligent testing, and QA accelerators.
• Improve production quality by reducing defect leakage and strengthening shift-left testing practices.
• Lead hiring, mentoring, organizational development, and capability building for QA teams.
• Drive continuous process improvements and establish a culture of quality engineering across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 15+ years of overall experience in Software Testing and Quality Engineering.
• 5+ years leading enterprise QA strategy and large testing organizations.
• 10+ years designing enterprise test architecture and automation frameworks.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with SDLC, Agile, SAFe, Shift-Left Testing, and Continuous Testing.
• 10+ years working in the Retail industry with strong understanding of retail business processes.
• 10+ years leading quality engineering teams, hiring, mentoring, and organizational development.
• 7+ years presenting quality metrics and strategy to executive leadership.
• 2+ years implementing AI-driven QA initiatives using GenAI tools and intelligent automation.
