Responsibilities

• Oversee food safety and quality systems, ensuring compliance with SQF, USDA, and company standards.
• Maintain SQF systems, enforce Good Manufacturing Practices, and ensure adherence to USDA and company regulations.
• Prepare and conduct second- and third-party audits.
• Review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Manage laboratory practices, records, and equipment calibration.
• Lead employee training on food safety and quality standards.
• Conduct facility inspections and collect samples/swabs.
• Drive change management, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues diplomatically while promoting a culture of quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in a related field (preferred).
• Experience in food production quality assurance.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• SQF and HACCP certification strongly preferred.
