We provide product engineering support, PCB layout, new product introduction, electronics manufacturing, testing, systems integration, and product lifecycle management so clients can focus on their core business.
About the role
This full-time, on-site role based in Nashville, NC is responsible for overseeing quality processes across electronics manufacturing operations. The Quality Assurance Manager leads the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management systems to maintain compliance with AS9100D and other applicable standards.
Responsibilities
- Create and update quality procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
- Conduct internal audits and manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Monitor key quality metrics and drive root cause analysis and process improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and internal specifications.
- Support customer and third-party audits, including interfacing with certifying bodies.
- Train team members on quality policies and best practices.
- Lead and mentor staff in quality principles and practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Experience in quality management within electronics manufacturing or similar technical production environments, preferably with AS9100 or ISO 9001 standards.
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as root cause analysis, statistical process control, and continuous improvement.
- Ability to lead audits (internal and external) and manage compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.
- Demonstrated capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, production, supply chain) and communicate clearly at all organizational levels.
- Supervisory or team leadership experience with a track record of mentoring and developing staff.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Experience working in or with aerospace, defense, medical, or other highly regulated industries is beneficial.
