About the Role

Uses Bill of Materials from engineered prints to create shipping paperwork for each job scheduled to deliver to the customer. Tracks job completion via a job tracking spreadsheet to ensure all previous inspections have been passed. Documents, inventories, and photographs all ship-loose items associated with each unit. Conducts final inspections on all units prior to shipping, packages and labels ship-loose parts, and ensures all parts ship with their respective units. Takes final pictures of completed units after loading to verify quality before departure. Maintains QA documentation, executes ISO9001 and UL Quality Assurance manual functions, identifies non-conformances, and executes root cause and corrective action plans. Inspects work in process and finished products for compliance with engineered prints and customer specifications, verifying proper functioning of all components. Drives Built-In Quality initiatives across all shops to ensure defect-free, complete shipments. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of ISO9001 or similar quality management system experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NACE Level I, II, or III certification.
  • AWS CWI certification.
  • Prior experience in a power systems industry, especially standby power applications.
