About the role

We are seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Inspector for our Ultra High Purity (UHP) Unit in Horsham, PA. This role reports to the Director of Technical Services and focuses on ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and quality of components and finished products throughout all stages of the inspection process. The QA Inspector collaborates with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other Operations-focused roles to support our vision of becoming the preferred process analytical solutions provider for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform outgoing quality assurance of gas analyzers and related equipment.
  • Perform incoming quality assurance of parts, assemblies, and other items.
  • Maintain the calibrated equipment process, including record maintenance, scheduling calibrations, and working with calibration vendors.
  • Sustain the Nonconforming Material Report process, including completing associated paperwork, detailing issues electronically, and communicating with internal/external parties.
  • Maintain documentation, both physical and electronic, related to all transactions.
  • Update the ERP system and related digital documentation.
  • Support the goals and effectiveness of the Quality Management System.
  • Work with other departments to highlight and resolve quality issues raised during inspections, manufacturing, or other stages.
  • Ensure appropriate use of Epicor’s ERP system and adopt new business practices as part of newly modeled processes.
  • Apply PI values—operational excellence, communication, service-mindedness, innovation, integrity, and collaboration—to tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols, identifying potential hazards, and promoting a culture of safety.
  • Support other departments and perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Technical certificate with experience in an inspection or related role.
  • Strong ability to read and understand technical documentation, including mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Proficiency in using common laboratory and measurement equipment (e.g., scales, volt meters).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and rapidly growing environment.
  • Highly self-directed, motivated, and able to work independently with initiative.
  • Effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to engage across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Excel and various software applications.
  • Familiarity with quality systems such as ISO is preferred.
