Quality Assurance Inspector

Responsibilities

• Perform quality audits on the production floor to ensure product conformity and procedures and instructions are being followed
• Initiate containment and certification activity when non-conformances are identified
• Update product inventory status in Syspro and records non-conforming product in QDA
• Audit results to the production and/or quality teams
• Analyze, track and report audit results to the production and/or quality teams
• Create instructions and visual aids to standardize work processes
• Train and support Henrob personnel in quality related training
• Support customer concern investigations and manufacturing quality issues
• Participate in internal auditing systems
• Absorb and conduct product inspection and scheduled product audits as required
• Carry out other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Working knowledge of quality systems
• Certified auditor preferred, not required
• Skills with Windows and MS Office applications
• Experience using Syspro or similar business systems
• Able to maintain professional behavior in all situations
• Communicate effectively at all levels, good interpersonal skills
• Organized, with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize assignments
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve targets
• Ability to work independently
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Walk, bend and stand throughout the shift, in a manufacturing plant and lab environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate’s degree
