Pay
New hires for this position typically start between $28.08 and $35.10 hourly, depending on factors such as work location, experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market conditions.

Responsibilities
- Inspect aerospace and commercial CNC machined parts to verify configuration to blueprints, drawings, and/or customer specifications.
- Work with complex measurements and 1st article reports using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance.
- Provide complex first article reports.
- Inspect, test, or measure CNC machined parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as CMM, rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
- Read blueprints, work orders, part lists, or other materials to determine specifications are being met.
- Record inspection or test data, such as weights, holes, or feature positions, and quantities inspected.
- Able to convert data into FAI's via Net-Inspect or AS9102 Forms.
- Discard or reject products, materials, or equipment not meeting specifications.
- Familiar with and able to operate CMM and knowledge of current software.
- Able to program simple programs from provided drawings and/or models.
- Troubleshoot process and provide general statistical data.
- Effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.
- Perform testing on materials including paint thickness.
- Collect or select samples for testing or for use as models.
- Write test or inspection reports describing results, recommendations, or needed repairs.
- Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations.
- Able to be a role model, coach, and trainer for new associates to foster a team environment.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.120.15 is required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 4 years of quality assurance inspection.
- Knowledge of paint thickness.
- Geometric dimensioning and tolerance skills.
- CMM Programmer and Operator experience required.
