Quality Assurance Inspector II
Responsibilities
- Work closely with other inspectors and QA engineers to perform a variety of quality control functions.
- Perform in-process inspections (100% inspection).
- Complete inspection records.
- Perform layup in-process inspections.
- Complete inspection records.
- Perform visual, tap test, trim, drill and assembly in-process inspections.
- Complete inspection records.
- Oven run verification.
- Document and track non-conforming conditions.
- Track temperature and humidity in manufacturing areas.
- Perform final inspections / release to shipping.
- Perform quality assurance tasks such as calibration tracking and management.
- Assist in compliance checks and audits.
- Prepare conformance packages and maintain equipment maintenance logs.
- Generate and process work orders.
- Maintain EBOM (Engineering Bill of Materials).
- Update and change work orders.
- Perform receiving inspections on all items.
- Complete inspection records.
- Scan and file lot records.
- Prepare material use sheets.
- Maintain completed material use sheets.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalency certificate.
- 3-5 years of experience as a QC/QA inspector in the military or aerospace industries.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO9001 standards.
- Knowledge of standard aerospace industry requirements preferred.
- Proficient in using precision hand tools, including calipers, scales, tape measures, micrometers, and pin gauges.
- Ability to work unassisted and stand for extended periods (8 hours minimum).
- Experience as a DIMR (Designated Manufacturing Inspection Representative) or a representative with delegated 8130 source inspection authority is highly desired.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Salary
$20 - $25 per hour.

CPI Composite Structures - AdamWorks Division is seeking a highly skilled and motivated AS9100 QC Inspector to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be directly involved in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards, helping us connect with a wide variety of customers around the world. This position is on site at our Centennial, Colorado Manufacturing facility.
