Quality Assurance Inspector

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow inspection procedures for incoming material.
• Ensure incoming material meets criteria as specified by drawings or procedures.
• Perform visual check to verify product meets Utility cosmetic standards.
• Follow audit plans per AQL standards for all incoming material.
• Create reports and present them to the Material Review Board (MRB) on all non-conforming material or actions.
• Assist with the creation of Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCAR)

Qualifications

• +2 years of experience with QA Inspection
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
• Ability to read and create assemble procedures and/or work instructions.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as organized presentation
• Use of basic inspection tools (calipers, micrometer, hole gauges, scales, microscope…)
• PREFERRED: Certification to IPC-A-610
