Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day inspection and quality monitoring of civil works (concrete, foundations, structural works, earthworks, etc.) and piping installations (fabrication, welding, erection, hydro-testing).
• Verify compliance of materials, construction methods, and completed works with drawings, specifications, and relevant standards (ASME, ASTM, API, ACI, ISO, etc.).
• Conduct dimensional checks, alignment verification, and weld visual inspections.
• Maintain detailed inspection records, checklists, and quality reports.
• Review and verify contractors’ quality documentation including Material Test Certificates, Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
• Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.
• Witness and verify civil material testing (concrete slump, cube tests, soil compaction, etc.).
