Quality Assurance Inspector

About the role

Santa Barbara Infrared, Inc. (SBIR) is a successful, fast‑paced subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, designing and manufacturing advanced infrared and electro‑optical test instrumentation for aerospace, defense, and electronics industries. The Quality Inspector uses knowledge of precision inspection methods to perform non‑routine inspection and evaluation of standard and prototype electromechanical, optical, and electronic systems, subsystems, or components, and inspects products at various stages of production to maintain quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform non‑routine inspection and evaluation of standard and prototype electromechanical, optical, and electronic systems, subsystems, or components.
• Inspect products at various stages of the production process to maintain quality and reliability.

Requirements

• One‑to‑two year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pay

$21.00/hour – $28.50/hour (DOE)

Schedule

On‑site (Monday‑Friday)
