About the role
The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for supporting daily quality assurance activities on the production floor to ensure all products meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform incoming material inspections
- Perform first article inspections (from internal and external sources)
- Perform coating inspections
- Monitor valve and hydrant assembly lines for production quality
- Monitor valve and hydrant testing for production quality
- Monitor coating testing and production quality
- Perform internal audits and corrective actions
- Calibration of tools and test equipment
- Work on special projects assigned and prioritized by the company
Requirements
- Must have a high attention to detail and be able to meet deadlines
- Record keeping skills with computer literacy (Microsoft)
- Ability to use measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers etc.)
- Able to organize and schedule the daily workload
- Familiarity with the metric system
- Able to read technical drawings
- Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds
- Must have 1-2 years QA experience
