Summary
As the Quality Assurance Engineer II, you provide critical support to ensure the quality and reliability of North Atlantic Industries’ electronic systems throughout the manufacturing process. You coordinate across departments, suppliers, and customers, including government agencies, to identify and resolve quality issues that directly impact production yield, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.- Support failure analysis for supplier related issues and institute supplier corrective actions.
- Conduct investigations on factory non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and ensure closure of corrective actions.
- Lead and conduct internal audits and support external audits related to AS9100/ISO 9001, customer requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Serve as the point of contact for operations team on subjects involving control of product quality.
- Aid in resolving customer post-delivery issues and completing customer RCCA requests.
- Analyze quality data, yield metrics, and defect trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage critical Quality processes such as the MRB (Material Review Board) or CRAB (Corrective Action Review Board) and resolution of day-to-day non-conformances.
- Aid in developing, reviewing, and maintaining quality documentation such as procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and quality records.
- Support various activities to improve, maintain, and promote the quality management system.
- Mentor and provide guidance to Quality Engineer I and Quality Technicians as needed.
