Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop quality assurance data packages
• Participate in internal and external audits, surveillances, and inspections
• Aid in translating customer or regulatory requirements into manufacturing instructions
• Provide technical support to inspectors and operators
• Perform analysis of production data to create reports and identify trends
• Conduct root cause analysis to implement corrective actions as needed
• Identify potential project or supplier quality issues
• Evaluate and respond to customer and/or supplier correspondence
• Communicate effectively within a team setting to ensure quality standards are met

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field
• Due to DoD requirements, must be a US citizen
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
• Auditing experience is an asset
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt / Green Belt certification is desired
• Ability to read and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (ASME Y14.5) is a plus
