Summary

Affords support to the QA Program in auditing charts and ensuring data is delivered to designated channels promptly. Ensures compliance with external funding certification agencies and Red Rock policies and procedures. Offers individual and group counseling to the assigned population. Completes documentation that aligns with clinical necessity and adheres to program and agency standards.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews and audits clinical records for compliance with funding sources and accreditation standards.
  • Collaborates with staff to rectify charts and educate on compliance requirements.
  • Holds office hours for staff and serves as a local resource for staff.
  • Trains staff as needed.
  • Maintains clinical knowledge and stays updated with programmatic goals and objectives.
  • Supports the QA Program Director in meeting QA Program goals.
  • Collects and tracks data, ensuring it is appropriately reported to the Data Analyst.
  • Attends staff meetings, workshops, and seminars to stay informed about agency policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Ensures continuous learning and competency in specific theoretical orientations such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered, Motivational Interviewing, etc.
  • Completes intake processes, develops treatment plans, determines clinical diagnoses, and refers clients to appropriate resources.
  • Facilitates and implements direct care through groups and individual therapy sessions.
  • Participates in treatment team meetings to provide information pertinent to the welfare of clients.
  • Serves as a primary liaison between the health team and coordinates among all team members.
  • Supervises students and other clinical support staff as required to achieve programmatic goals.
  • Develops and implements programmatic goals and objectives.
  • Maintains confidentiality and informs clients of their rights while obtaining necessary authorization for information release.
  • Maintains core competencies in relation to working with co-occurring disorders through continuing education and skill implementation.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with relevant local, state, and federal government agencies.
  • Promotes community education initiatives to raise awareness about PTSD and acute mental health crises.

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Mental Health-related field and licensure (LADC, LPC, LMFT, LCSW)
  • Strong computer knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, and other relevant programs
  • Self-starter and innovative thinker
  • Effective written and oral communication skills

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull a minimum of 25 pounds
  • Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time
  • Use of telephone, PC, fax machine, copy machine, and printer
