About the role
The CDE Quality Assurance Consultants at Velera are responsible for project review, functional testing, audit support, and root cause analysis. They interact with various business unit resources, providing project reviews, developing and executing testing templates, and supporting both internal and external audit requests.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers and analysts to review project requirements and artifacts for effective traceability.
- Perform functional testing based on test scripts developed in collaboration with project delivery teams.
- Aid project delivery teams in understanding defects found during project deliveries.
- Collect and document testing results and provide information back to project managers and analysts.
- Compile and produce testing result metrics for CDE leadership.
- Address requests from internal sources to perform root cause analysis on issues identified during and after project deliveries.
- Organize communications and meetings across CDE and other groups to document and communicate RCA findings.
- Show functional understanding of credit/debit card processing and Fiserv processing platforms.
- Support the execution of thorough internal and external audits for the business unit, identifying discrepancies, inefficiencies, or non-compliance issues.
- Ensure that audit recommendations are implemented effectively and within a timely manner.
- Maintain oversight of progress and report on the status of corrective actions.
- Identify and assess risks related to project delivery and operations and develop strategies to mitigate these risks through robust governance and audit practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Systems or Business Management preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Three (3) years related experience required.
- Three (3) years project experience preferred.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in credit/debit card processing and Fiserv platforms.
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies.

- Pay: $67,700.00 - $86,300.00
