Quality Assurance Auditor (Mays Cancer Center)

About the role

Under general supervision, responsible for all aspects of quality assurance audits according to group quality assurance guidelines and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conducts audits to ensure consistency with established policies, procedures, and philosophy, and to maintain and improve the quality of care given to patients.
• Ensures current, accurate information is documented in the Quality Assurance database.
• Reviews audit follow-up responses, creates corrective action/preventative action (CAPA) plans, and develops non-conformance reports (NCR) as necessary.
• Researches regulatory and quality assurance issues and implements changes as needed.
• Maintains communication with Administration, Medical Staff, and Department Heads regarding all Quality Assurance activities.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Five (5) years of experience in quality assurance, regulatory, or healthcare areas is required.
