Essential Job Duties
- Inspects incoming fabric for quality, accuracy, color, pattern alignment, and defects prior to production.
- Verifies fabric specifications, labeling, and documentation against established standards.
- Documents inspection results clearly and accurately.
- Identifies, tags, and reports fabric defects or variances to appropriate stakeholders.
- Safeguards approved fabric for production and separates non-approved fabric.
- Supports cushion and pillow production by responding to fabric quality questions or concerns.
- Affixes quality inspections and documentation across the quality department, as needed.
- Follows established quality procedures, standards, and safety guidelines.
- Maintains organized inspection and storage areas for fabric materials.
- Assists with other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months or more of quality inspection or quality related experience preferred; one year of experience in a warehouse or production environment preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification within one month of hire
- Basic understanding of quality inspection concepts or ability to learn quickly
- Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills
- Ability to accurately document findings and follow established procedures
- Good organizational skills with the ability to maintain orderly work areas
- Dependable attendance and consistent punctuality
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication skills for reporting quality concerns
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Basic to intermediate computer skills; experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
Physical Demands
- Regularly sits and stands, with occasional walking throughout the work area.
- Frequent use of hands to handle, feel, and inspect materials and products, as well as reaching with hands and arms.
- Occasional lifting and/or moving of materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Close vision, distance vision, the ability to adjust focus, and the ability to distinguish color differences.
- Clear hearing during in-person interactions and telephone conversations.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, moving equipment, and moderate noise levels.
- Use of standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers.
