Job Summary

SALARY: $41.1823/hr. SHIFT: Varying shifts (11PM - 7AM, 3PM - 11PM, 7AM - 3PM) with ability to work 12 hr shifts as needed. Available to work any shift at least 2 weekends a month Weekday Training Availability: To ensure our weekenders are trained properly, we ask that all candidates are available to train during the week with following requirements:Available Monday - Friday to train for 4-6 consecutive weeks - varies by skillAvailable to train Monday - Friday - can be partial shifts but must have 4+ hrs. of availability on any shift listed aboveTwo weekends of safety orientation and onboarding will be held Friday - Sunday (7AM - 3PM) once offer is accepted

About the Role

The Supply group is responsible for brewing, packaging and shipping the famous Budweiser beer. They also oversee aluminum can manufacturing, barley fields, hop farms and a rice mill. Life in the brewery is non-stop action with high-speed lines, tight production schedules and unbelievably high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Run routine analytical analyses on beer samples including: ph, ballings, alcohol, sodium, and iron
  • Run routine analyses of packaged beer for oxygen, carbon dioxide, fill level, etc.
  • Routine testing of pasteurizers for proper pasteurization
  • Conduct inspection and analysis of package integrity and specifications
  • Cookordination quality analyses ensuring accurate results, timely completion, and proper responses and notification
  • Perform various studies and perform statistical analyses to improve quality throughout the brewery
  • Other routine laboratory testing, as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a science-intensive discipline (e.g. Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, etc.)
  • Ability to operate laboratory instruments and perform basic instrument maintenance
  • Knowledge of basic laboratory safety, sanitation, procedures and techniques
  • Strong technical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Solid interpersonal skills and team orientation
  • Must be flexible to work varying shifts during this week. Some weekends and holidays may be required
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Understanding of the brewing and packaging process, HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices for food manufacturing a plus
